Skye Holland has released ‘Automatic’ via Prodigy Records. The Victoria-based singer already owns five entries on the Billboard Dance/Mix Show US National Airplay Chart, including her Steve Kroeger pairing ‘So Close’ that climbed to No. 10 there and No. 3 on Mediabase Dance. Their earlier release ‘Through The Dark’ pulled in Billboard Canada and EDM.com support, while ‘Lie’ reached No. 27 on Billboard Adult Top 40 and landed breakout rotation on Ryan Seacrest’s American Top 40. She sits on 108 million streams total, with national airplay from SiriusXM and iHeart Radio stateside, BBC Introducing in the UK, and TV exposure on ABC, Music Choice, YTV, Stingray Music, SPACE DiVA, and STAR Digio, plus syncs on Temptation Island and The Young & The Restless.

‘Automatic’ is where Skye Holland first commits fully to a drum-and-bass sound. The song maps the automatic click of true unrequited love, the kind that arrives without negotiation or friction. Upbeat percussion snaps through the mix with clipped, propulsive precision, while a massive reese bass anchors everything in a thick, rolling low end. Those two forces sit in tight dialogue, clearing space for her smooth vocal delivery to move the phrasing with intimacy yet detached in a way that echoes the quiet inevitability of the lyric. Steve Kroeger’s production keeps the structure pop-literate but never polite; the result is a clean, progressive DnB single. It also makes sense as an extension of Holland’s influences like Jhene Aiko and Pink Pantheress, the same blend of pop’s polish and emotion, only now carried on breakneck drums instead of airy R&B textures.

Skye Holland shared: Automatic’ is about that effortless connection with someone. When being together just feels natural, cinematic, like it was always meant to happen. It’s magnetic, it just is. Finding the spark in the chaos and moving through it together.”
