On April 28, 2026, MIN t released ‘Last Day’, her second single before the album Before The After, which comes out May 8. This self-released track follows ‘Hope’ and its video, which appeared in METAL Magazine and was played on Hot Wax Radio, SF Radio UK, Radio Opole, MXTR FM, and Hot 102.8. MIN t, whose real name is Martyna Kubicz, has been based in Berlin since 2015. She has supported artists like HVOB, Angel Haze, Jess Glynne, and Vitalic. She started classical piano at age seven in Wrocław’s music school, was influenced by musical theatre and ballet, and later explored jazz, electronic, pop, and soul before teaching herself Ableton at eighteen. A Berklee College of Music scholarship brought her mentorship from Susan Rogers, the first Polish woman to receive it, and led to her 2021 album Shot To Pieces, co-produced by Leo Abrahams. Today, her music blends electronic, pop, and R’nB, drawing inspiration from Aphex Twin, Autechre, D’Angelo, and FKA twigs.

This single continues MIN t’s unique style but with less focus on spectacle. ‘Last Day’ shows a softer, more vulnerable side, built on her own production and mix, with mastering by Conor Dalton and lyrics co-written with Patrycja Kubicz. The track uses breakbeat-inspired rhythms that feels light. MIN t’s smooth vocals float over the beats, exploring themes like life, death, destruction, and existential questions without becoming overly dramatic. The sound design balances the serious topics so they never feel overwhelming. The breakbeats repeat in controlled patterns, the textures are warm and detailed, and the result is a quiet tension instead of fear. This restraint makes the track feel real and immediate, appealing to fans of Bicep, Overmono, and FKA twigs who appreciate groove, space, and emotional detail.

MIN t revealed: “The end of the world as we know it is approaching fast. Or maybe it’s already here? It’s easy to get lost in the flood of cruelty, disasters, and wars. They quickly become mundane, blending into one grotesque vision. Meanwhile, the illusion of comfort only serves as a reminder of our helplessness. The song ‘Last Day on Earth’ is about that very sense of boredom that refuses to fade, and about giving up the fight—even for one’s own survival.”
