From July 24–27, the boundary-blurring world of Château Perché returns for its 10th edition, transforming the majestic Château de Farcheville—a 13th-century castle nestled just outside Paris—into a kaleidoscopic playground of music, art, and immersive storytelling. With over 6,900 attendees expected and more than 400 international artists set to perform across 11 bespoke stages, this year marks the festival’s most ambitious chapter yet.
The 2025 theme, “Once upon a time there was a graphic fantasy utopia,” invites guests into a rich narrative universe where costume, fantasy, and collective imagination collide. Each day carries its own dress-coded aesthetic: sky-high whimsy on Pyjamas in the Sky with Diamonds, decadent escapism on Haute Couture Kinky Tales, and a full-hearted celebration on Vermillon Love Legion.
Musically, Château Perché continues to defy genre lines. Expect a deep dive through downtempo, melodic techno, amapiano, UK garage, live performances, house, and psytrance—brought to life across immersive stage concepts like Le Mirador de l’Amor, Le Jardin à la Française, and Le Colombier.
But sound is only part of the experience. The Exploration Village offers a program of sensory and emotional workshops, while La Cour d’honneur becomes a sanctuary for audiovisual installations, healing spaces, and intentional quiet zones. With scenography and set design taken to hallucinatory new heights, the château itself becomes an artwork—alive with texture, color, and narrative detail.
At its core, Château Perché is guided by four founding principles: Respect, Ecology, Safety, and Awakening. The entire site is vegetarian, waste is minimized through reusable dishware and cups, and dedicated shuttles run from eight cities to reduce the carbon footprint. Entry to the festival comes with a moral commitment form—underscoring the shared values and co-creation that make this gathering more than just a party.
Journalists are invited to attend press tours on-site for a deeper look behind the scenes of one of France’s most visionary cultural experiments.
