Traumship is an electronic pop band blending various genres whose intriguing music may be defined as “traum pop”: dancing, powerful, dreamlike and dark.
Based in Paris and tied to Berlin, the band is influenced by krautrock, synth pop and the beats of today’s clubs.
Traumship’s sound is a human voice driven by energetic, yet mechanical rhythms and deep and intense soundscapes. Their lyrics explore gloomy reflections of our soul, be it through dreams or nightmares. Traumship is a vessel navigating the unknown waters of our psyche, embarking you on a one-way voyage without clear destination.

‘Crying Boy’ depicts the confusion of a man who is no longer holding back his tears while facing an overwhelming encounter. In a sequence of excruciating, lynchian images, at the edge of dreams and lunacy, of memories and the now, he is about to let her in, hoping for abundant light but risking to lose it all.
